SUMMARY:The ARM HPC Experience: From Testbeds to Exascale
DESCRIPTION:Birds of a Feather\nTech Program Reg Pass, Exhibits Reg Pass,
Exhibits - Exhibit Hall Only Reg Pass\n\nThe ARM HPC Experience: From Test
 beds to Exascale\n\nSato, Younge, Patnaik, McIntosh-Smith, Linford...\n\nT
he ARM architecture has gained substantial traction in the HPC community a
s evidenced by several ARM-based projects including the Japanese Post-K, E
uropean Mont-Blanc, U.S. DOE Vanguard, and UK GW4/EPSRC efforts, as well a
s the commercial availability of ARM nodes from HPC vendors including Cray
, Gigabyte, HPE, and Ingrasys. We will bring together experts to share the
ir experiences investigating ARM HPC, from testbeds with current ARM proce
ssors to plans for future exascale systems. The BoF includes a panel sessi
on where members and the audience together can discuss progress and define
the future state of ARM in the HPC community.
