Sandy Landsberg

Biography
Ms. Sandy Landsberg is the Acting Director of the DOD High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) since May 2018. Prior to this, Ms. Landsberg was the Deputy Director of the HPCMP. The HPCMP is a national asset that provides shared HPC capabilities and expertise to DoD Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) and acquisition engineering communities to accelerate technology development and transition technology into superior defense capabilities. Ms. Landsberg provides leadership and oversight of all aspects related to HPCMP planning, strategy, execution, operations, personnel, and activities. Ms. Landsberg has also held various positions in the Department of Energy Office of Science Advanced Scientific Computing Research, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), and the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). Ms. Landsberg has over 25 years of experience within the federal government in high-performance computing.
