Michael Mercier is a Computer Science Ph.D. Candidate, with a wide IT infrastructure expertise in multiple contexts: Cloud, High Performance Computing, and Big Data.
He has worked as an R&D engineer on the distributed micro data center infrastructure of Stimergy. He is now working the HPC and Big Data infrastructure convergence with the HPC vendor Atos (formerly Bull) and the University of Grenoble Alpes.
His main research interests are Big Data and HPC resource and job management system convergence, software provisioning on HPC platform, I/O aware infrastructure simulation, and reproducible infrastructure.
