Dr. Rene Meyer is a technology pioneer with multiple patents and published work in the space of emerging non-volatile memory technologies, oxide thin films, and high-performance computing. As the Vice President of Technology at AMAX, he heads the AI & High-Performance Technology group, serving as chief architect in designing and validating cutting edge platforms to address the rapidly evolving requirements of Deep Learning as an emerging field, with particular focus on accelerating development for AI startups. Dr. Meyer holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University of Technology in Aachen, Germany.
