Bill Barth is the Director of High Performance Computing at the Texas Advanced Computing Center at UT Austin. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from UT Austin where his primary focus was in Computational Fluid Dynamics. His current research is in HPC analytics tools for large-scale Linux clusters and their applications to user support and the operations of large-scale clusters. In addition he works on the application of innovative interconnect technologies and algorithms to the performance of applications of large systems.
